Artistic

While my Pensacola wedding photography is artistic in its own right, I sometimes feel the need for a bit of abstract or non traditional photography. Since during my work I use professional cameras I find that for my artstic photography I like to mix it up and try using fun cameras. One is a Zumi Digital camera that produces very interesting distortions without any editing. Since I spend a lot of time editing, this is a bonus for me. In addition I do a bit of video work on the side using the Zumi and another digital video camera. While I don’t currently offer this as a service I sometimes shoot a bit of video for free as just an added bonus for a couple. However, I only do this when extra time presents itself and never at the expense of my photography. If I don’t have the time then the video isn’t shot.

Artistic photography and videography keep me on my toes and highlight new areas of artistic possibility with weddings. I’ve learned a great deal about Pensacola wedding photography by just shooting artistic photography. Finding how light interacts with the camera with given times of day or during certain conditions is one example of something that is strongly enforced with doing photography outside the scope of weddings.
