Groups
When I first started in as a pensacola wedding photographer, group shots where my least favorite. This was primarily because I typically shot the standard boy, girl, boy, girl pose. I quickly used this dislike of group shots to fuel my creative side. I found interesting ways to pose people and along the way found that the best group shots are the ones that aren’t posed, but just on the way to being posed. A group of guys getting ready to get into a posed shot, playing around, makes a great group shot. Locations are important, but not as much as a fun group of people.
In about half of the wedding’s I’ve shot brides and grooms aren’t as concerned with the group shots as their parents and grandparents. For these events My Pensacola Wedding Photographer can quickly photograph the group shots and move on to the ones the bride and groom are more interested in. When we schedule our meeting to go over the wedding day we can go over your expectations of the group shots. As soon as I know the location and make up of the wedding party I can come up with interesting ideas for posing.
