Receptions

When people let their hair down, realize there is an open bar, and the bride and groom finally get to relax, the opportunities for great photos present themselves in excess. As a Pensacola and Gulf Shores wedding photographer I strive to capture the fun of an event while making sure I get all the important moments such as cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss, and first dances. This is where a photo helper or designated family friend really come in handy to make sure I don’t miss any relatives who weren’t at the ceremony or weren’t able to stay for group shots.

Since your family and guests were important enough to invite, rest assured I’ll try my best to photograph every last one of them at the reception. Because I’ve been a Pensacola and Gulf Shores wedding photographer for years, I’ve more than likely shot at the reception venue that your wedding will be at. I’m familiar enough with all the locations to know what type of camera gear to bring to each and where best to set up for certain shots. If you have questions about a particular location, feel free to ask and I’d be happy to let you know if I’ve shot there. If I haven’t I’ll stop by there on my own time to makes sure I’m comfortable there before your big day!
